The transition of your Leaders Bank account is complete. You now have all access to take full advantage of your banking relationship with Providence Bank & Trust. If you haven’t already, please make sure you have reviewed the Welcome Guide previously provided which quickly and easily outlines steps to activate/set up your new Debit/ATM Card, digital banking and telephone banking as well as how to access new features you now have available.

As part of the transition, the office at 2001 York Road, Suite 150, Oak Brook, IL permanently closed at the end of the business day on August 9, 2022. We welcome you to conduct your banking at the Providence Bank & Trust office at 2 East Roosevelt Road, Villa Park, IL (just 3.5 miles away), or at any of the other 14 offices & ATMs.

Reminders

  • Providence Bank & Trust Offices – We welcome you to begin banking at the Providence Bank & Trust located at 2 East Roosevelt Road in Villa Park, IL (just 3.5 miles away), or at any of our other 14 offices & ATMs.
  • Providence Bank & Trust Online and Mobile Banking1 – Access on the providence.bank website or the Providence Bank & Trust mobile app.
  • NEW Providence Bank & Trust Debit/ATM Card – Activation and use of your Providence Bank & Trust Debit/ATM Card is required – follow instructions provided on the sticker adhered to your new Providence Bank & Trust Debit/ATM Card to activate.
  • Allpoint Network2 – The Allpoint Network of over 55,000 fee-free ATMs worldwide is available using your activated Providence Bank & Trust Online and/or Mobile Banking systems.
  • Electronic Statements – Set up digital banking electronic statements in the Providence Bank & Trust Online and/or Mobile Banking systems.
  • Account Transfers – Scheduled account transfers, both internal and external, need to be re-established in the Providence Bank & Trust Online and/or Mobile Banking systems.
  • Recurring Debit Card Automatic Payments – Need to be re-established with your new Providence Bank & Trust ATM/Debit Card.
  • Telephone Banking – Set up access and use the Providence Bank & Trust Telephone Banking System.

Can I continue to write checks and/or use my ATM/Debit Card(s)?

Yes. Please continue to use your existing supply of Leaders Bank checks during and after the transition, until they are depleted. Upon reorder, you’ll receive Providence Bank & Trust branded checks.

Activation and use of your Providence Bank & Trust Debit/ATM Card is required – follow instructions provided on the sticker adhered to your new Providence Bank & Trust Debit/ATM Card to activate

Are there any new services I need to be aware of that would affect my account?

As a part of your new banking relationship with us, you have gained access to NEW services, including self-storage & safe deposit boxes, telephone banking and the Allpoint Network of over 55,000 fee-free ATMs worldwide for even more convenient banking2. You are now able to take advantage of our enhanced online and mobile banking platforms to conduct or expand your banking services. More information about these enhanced services as well as other Providence Bank & Trust services are provided with your Welcome Resource Kit above.

Will my direct deposits and automated payments & transfers remain the same?

Yes. These services all continue for you without interruption. Now that the system integration is complete, these have been routed to your account at Providence Bank & Trust by way of special arrangement without any interruption.

Rest assured, there are safety nets in place to ensure prompt crediting of your direct deposits. If there are any payments or transfers, that we cannot convert, we will notify you and work through them with you. Should you need to make changes to anything in the future, please contact our Customer Care Center to make these arrangements.

Will the existing Oak Brook office close?

Yes, as part of the transition, the Oak Brook office at 2001 York Road, Suite 150, Oak Brook, IL permanently closed at the end of the business day on August 9, 2022. We welcome you to conduct your banking at the Providence Bank & Trust location at 2 East Roosevelt Road, Villa Park, IL (just 3.5 miles away), or at any of the other 14 locations and ATMs.

1 Downloadable App for Apple and Android users and text message banking are available. Providence Bank & Trust does not charge fees for using the basic consumer and/or business mobile banking service. Mobile deposit, a feature within mobile banking, is available to consumers with no fee and is available to businesses with no fee for deposits up to $20,000 per business day.  However, if a businesses’ mobile deposits exceed $20,000 per business day, a $25 fee per month will apply.  In addition, your wireless carrier may charge a fee for SMS (text) messaging and/or data usage, whichever is required for mobile banking. Other fees or restrictions may apply. 

2 Providence Bank & Trust does not charge an ATM service fee for transactions conducted at any Allpoint ATM or Providence Bank & Trust ATM.  Any cash withdrawal, balance inquiry or transfer transaction conducted at a non-proprietary ATM (non-Allpoint or non-Providence Bank & Trust ATM) will be charged $2.00 per transaction.  Within the Allpoint network, Allpoint+ deposit-enabled ATMs accept cash only deposits up to $1,000 per transaction. To confirm an ATM is part of the Allpoint network, and thus is surcharge-free, visit allpointnetwork.com. Filter options within the ATM map location allow identification of Allpoint+ cash deposit-enabled ATMs.
