On behalf of everyone at Providence Bank & Trust, welcome to the bank where you belong! The transition of your Leaders Bank account(s) to Providence Bank & Trust is scheduled to take place at the close of business on Friday, June 10, 2022. With this in mind, you will find a Welcome Resource Kit below that we have prepared as an easy walk through guide addressing how all your account(s) and services are transferring and will operate with Providence Bank & Trust.

As part of the transition, the Leaders Bank headquarters/office at 2001 York Road, Suite 150, Oak Brook, IL will permanently close at the end of the business day on August 9, 2022. As early as June 13, 2022, we welcome you to conduct your banking at the Providence Bank & Trust office at 2 East Roosevelt Road, Villa Park, IL (just 3.5 miles away), or at any of the other 14 offices & ATMs. Beginning Monday, June 13, 2022, the banking hours at the Oak Brook office will change. Banking hours will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 10:00AM to 3:00PM and closed on Wednesday & Saturday.

Why did The Leaders Bank choose Providence Bank & Trust as a merger partner? 

In this agreement, Leaders Bank recognized a tremendous opportunity to build upon its accomplishments and ensure that it could continue to fulfill its mission and serve customers at an even higher level, including expanded products and services and increased lending options. Combining operations with Providence Bank & Trust will ensure that your banking expectations are not only met but exceeded.

I’ve been banking with Leaders Bank for a number of years. Will my account number and services change?

Your account numbers will remain the same. You should continue to use your account(s) and all services as you have in the past (including online and mobile banking1) until June 10, 2022. The Welcome Resource Kit above provides information  about the changes and/or updates to your account(s) and services.

 

Can I continue to write checks and/or use my ATM/Debit Card(s)?

Yes. Please continue to use your existing supply of Leaders Bank checks during and after the transition, until they are depleted. Upon reorder, you’ll receive Providence Bank & Trust branded checks.

You may continue to use your existing Leaders Bank ATM/Debit Card until June 12, 2022. Any changes to your ATM/Debit Card are communicated in the Welcome Resource Kit above.

Will my direct deposits and automated payments & transfers remain the same?

Yes. These services all continue for you without interruption. Once the system integration is complete, these will be routed to your account at Providence Bank & Trust by way of special arrangement without any interruption.

Rest assured, there are safety nets in place to ensure prompt crediting of your direct deposits. If there are any payments or transfers, that we cannot convert, we will notify you and work through them with you. Should you need to make changes to anything in the future, please contact our Customer Care Center to make these arrangements.

Where can I do banking in person?

You should continue to bank at the Leaders Bank headquarters/office. Beginning Monday, June 13th, you will have access to the conveniently located 15 Providence Bank & Trust offices & ATMs, including our office at 2 East Roosevelt Road, Villa Park, IL. Rest assured, our staff is eager to service and support your banking relationship and meet your financial needs.

May I conduct my banking at any Providence Bank & Trust location?

Yes, beginning Monday, June 13th you will have access to all branches; however, at this time, please continue to conduct your banking transactions at the Leaders Bank office, or through online and/or mobile banking1. Once the system integration is complete, you will have access to all 15 Providence Bank & Trust locations throughout Chicago, its suburbs and Northwest Indiana.

Are there any new services I need to be aware of that would affect my account?

As a part of your new banking relationship with us, you will gain access to NEW services, including self-storage & safe deposit boxes, telephone banking and the Allpoint Network of over 55,000 fee-free ATMs worldwide for even more convenient banking2. You will also be able to take advantage of our enhanced online and mobile banking platforms to conduct or expand your banking services. More information about these enhanced services as well as other Providence Bank & Trust services are provided with your Welcome Resource Kit above.

Will the name of my bank change?  

Yes. Upon our system conversion date of June 10, 2022, the name of your bank will change to Providence Bank & Trust.

These hours will remain in effect until the branch permanently closes on Tuesday, August 9, 2022.

1 Downloadable App for Apple and Android users and text message banking are available. Providence Bank & Trust does not charge fees for using the basic consumer and/or business mobile banking service. Mobile deposit, a feature within mobile banking, is available to consumers with no fee and is available to businesses with no fee for deposits up to $20,000 per business day.  However, if a businesses’ mobile deposits exceed $20,000 per business day, a $25 fee per month will apply.  In addition, your wireless carrier may charge a fee for SMS (text) messaging and/or data usage, whichever is required for mobile banking. Other fees or restrictions may apply. 

2 Providence Bank & Trust does not charge an ATM service fee for transactions conducted at any Allpoint ATM or Providence Bank & Trust ATM.  Any cash withdrawal, balance inquiry or transfer transaction conducted at a non-proprietary ATM (non-Allpoint or non-Providence Bank & Trust ATM) will be charged $2.00 per transaction.  Within the Allpoint network, Allpoint+ deposit-enabled ATMs accept cash only deposits up to $1,000 per transaction. To confirm an ATM is part of the Allpoint network, and thus is surcharge-free, visit allpointnetwork.com. Filter options within the ATM map location allow identification of Allpoint+ cash deposit-enabled ATMs.
