We are so sincerely committed to the neighborhoods we
serve that we incorporated The Providence Bank & Trust Stewardship Program into our corporate principles when the Bank was founded. Our Stewardship Program dedicates 10% of the Bank’s profits to empowering the important work of local civic, non-profit and Christian organizations.
Over $10.7 million has been donated over 18 years through The Providence Bank & Trust Stewardship Program.
Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.
– 1 Peter 4:10
While some requests are acted upon immediately, each year our Board of Directors takes great care and reflection to consider all requests received throughout the year so we are able to reward and support as many deserving organizations as we possibly can.
In support of our mission to initiate and create opportunities for neighborhood revitalization, Providence Bank & Trust has developed the Community Stewardship Loan. This low interest loan opportunity supports the small businesses and nonprofit organizations in low to moderate income communities of the Chicagoland area and Northwest Indiana.
With the Community Stewardship Loan, we aim to provide a financial solution that delivers needed capital, inspires continued success and ultimately strengthens our communities.
Stewardship is so much more than financial giving. It is
about investing our heart, time and resources into our
local businesses and families so they can take advantage
of opportunities and realize their potential.
As active stewards, we’re thankful for the opportunity to
volunteer and partner with many great organizations
through the year to support the important work they do
and impact they have in the communities we serve.
I love working at Providence Bank & Trust because we are a family, dedicated to serving our customers and communities and giving back, whether it be sharing our profits with local civic, non-profit, Christian and other faith-based organizations, or contributing our time to serve. We take the time to get to know our customers and their families and have made great friends along the way. I really enjoy being part of a team that is working together to build a brighter future.”
